Shantui SD13YE Bulldozer Awarded CE Certification

Recently, the German certification agency TUV Rhineland issued a CE certification for Shantui's SD13YE Bulldozer. During its prototype stage, the SD13YE was subjected to rigorous testing and debugging, after which the machine was sent to TUV Rhineland for inspection. After its own thorough inspection the agency found the SD13YE compliant with the Machine Directive (2006/42/EC) and in the category of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EN13309-2010), and granted the machine the CE certification, clearing it for sale in Europe.

The SD13YE is the latest in Shantui's fledgling line of fully hydraulic Bulldozers, which also includes the 100-horsepower SD10YE and the 80-horsepower SD08YE. The 'YE' line of hydraulic Bulldozers itself in conjunction with a push to expand Shantui's offerings that are exportable to North America and Europe. After long having a presence in emerging markets, Shantui is now looking to expand into the more established ones. To do this, Shantui has been working with its R&D Institute to develop its core technology, resulting in advances such as the 'YE' line.
