Two Shantui "-3" Series Bulldozers Awarded CE Certification

In March, two of Shantui's "-3" series Bulldozers, the SD22-3 and the SD32-3, were awarded the CE certification by the ECO corporation from Italy, thus clearing the machines for sale in the EU. The ECO corporation, which provides inspection services for Bulldozer products entering the EU, issued a 350-page technical review of the two products, grading them based on 25 various safety and emissions standards. After the review, ECO reported that the machines met the requirements for mechanical design (2006/42/EC), and electromagnetic compatibility (EN13309-2010).

Beginning in 2012, Shantui's R&D Center established a certification team, with the objective of redesigning Shantui's products to meet international standards. As part of this project, the SD22-3 and SD32-3 series Bulldozers have been retooled and redesigned by Shantui's R&D Center from the prototype stage to meet EU Stage-IV and US EPA Tier-4 standards.
