Shantui's First Cold Planer Machine Rolls Off Assembly Line

On the morning of November 19,2012, Shantui’s first Cold Planer machine, the SM200M-3, came off the assembly line. The SM200M-3 was developed in-house from scratch, by Shantui's Road Machinery Division of the R&D Center. Led by project manager Lifang Yu, the development and release of this machine comes as part of a push by Shantui to develop cost-effective products using in-house talent and technology in the designs. Featured in the product is an energy-efficient Cummins engine, which meets Euro-II emissions standards. The SM200M-3 rolls out as part of Shantui’s diversification initiative into Road Machinery, along with other recent product offerings such as the SR14D tandem roller and SRP95-M Paver, one of which was recently sold in Tibet.
