Warm congratulations to Mr. Cui Taikui on being honored as national model worker in machinery industryOn February 19, the National Commending Conference for Advanced Collectives, Model Workers and Advanced Workers, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the State Council (MOHRSS) and China Machinery Industry Association (CMIA), was held ceremoniously at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, at which Cui Taikui, Lovol¡¯s secretary of the Party Committee and general manager, was honored as a "national model worker in the machinery industry".The Party Central Committee and the State Council attached great importance to the conference. Jia Qinglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC; Lu Yongxiang, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People¡¯s Congress; Wan Gang, vice chairman of the CPPCC and Minister of Science and Technology; Xu Kuangdi, vice chairman of the CPPCC; Li Rongrong, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; and Li Yizhong, Minister of Industry and Information, granted an interview to the representatives of the prizewinners before the conference. The past 14 years have witnessed the emergence of a galaxy of advanced collectives and advanced individuals distinctly characteristic of the times, which have kept to reform, been bold in innovation, been devoted and dedicated unselfishly, and thus may be rated as the "industry¡¯s backbone and models of the new year".
